BGS & Son claims to be a boutique luxury car rental and rent-to-own company based in Rose Bay, Sydney, but their service often falls short of expectations. Despite offering high-end vehicles like BMWs and Mercedes, their fleet is not always well-maintained or reliable. Promises of showroom-quality detailing and servicing are frequently overstated. Pricing is not as competitive as advertised, and discounts for extended hires are limited and confusing. Their management of bookings via Turo can be slow and unprofessional. While they offer event hires and payment plans, flexibility and customer support are lacking. The Artarmon showroom for longer rentals is inconveniently located and poorly equipped. Although pickup is supposedly easy, it can take much longer than 30 minutes and access via public transport is not user-friendly.
